📋 Description

• Circle is building an all-in-one platform for online communities (discussions, live streams, events, chat, courses, payments) under creators' own brand • In October 2024 the team launched Email Hub; this role focuses on Email Workflows and Editor • Participate in all stages of development lifecycle: task definition, development, testing, deployment, gradual releases behind feature flags • Work autonomously on a frontend architecture written in React and Tailwind CSS • Integrate with Ruby on Rails backend through a REST API • Build critical features and improvements for Circle community platform and Email Hub Workflows (automations) tools • Improve code quality, identify architectural deficiencies, and create paths to evolve them • Review PRs, fix bugs, and continuously improve the codebase • Collaborate closely with product leaders and designers to design and develop world-class user experiences

🎯 Requirements

• Strong alignment with our values (see career page) • 5+ years experience working as a Front-end engineer on complex web applications • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and working with APIs • Strong judgment and attention to detail for architectural, product, design, and process decisions • Desire to work in an environment valuing speed of iteration and individual autonomy with personal accountability • Motivation to understand the business, users, their needs and goals, and to deliver results • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a certain level of ambiguity • Great communication skills in writing and verbal/oral (English) • Adaptable with ability to change direction quickly • Familiar with agile software development principles • Able to lead a complex project end-to-end with sound judgment and attention to detail • Experience working on a fully distributed remote team
