Circular Action Alliance is a nonprofit, producer-led Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) that coordinates and implements extended producer responsibility (EPR) and stewardship programs for paper and packaging across multiple U. S. states. CAA provides harmonized compliance services, producer registration and reporting, program administration, and stakeholder engagement to advance an efficient, effective circular economy for packaging materials.

📋 Description

• Lead business needs analysis sessions to define and document solution requirements, detailed user stories, user personas, and acceptance criteria through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder collaboration. • Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to align state and national business requirements into cohesive technology solutions. • Conduct impact analysis, data flow mapping, and feasibility assessments for new functionality or regulatory updates. • Analyze and model current business processes, workflows, user flows, and data structures to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. • Participate in the evaluation and selection of technology solutions to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements. • Support developers and solution architects by identifying opportunities to leverage AI capabilities that enable scalable, value-driven solutions. • Participate in test planning, use case development, and solution validation activities to ensure technology solutions meet business requirements and maintain system integrity. • Collaborate with national and state business users to support solution design, testing, and deployment of system enhancements, upgrades, and fixes while supporting CAA enterprise processes and architecture. • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis standards, methodologies, and best practices. • Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from business requirements through user stories, solution delivery, testing and production deployment. • Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artifacts in accordance with IT PMO standards. • Support backlog prioritization and requirements refinement in partnership with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including user stories, requirements, test cases, and release notes. • Use Jira, Lucid chart and other IT PMO Tools for backlog management, progress tracking, and visualization of workflows and dependencies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required. • 7+ years of Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Requirements Management, or business-facing solution delivery experience. • 5+ years of experience supporting the design, delivery, and maintenance of solutions. • Experience working across stakeholders in a completely remote organization is a plus. • Experience in the Health Insurance or Supply Chain industries is a plus.
