📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor to regional leadership on compliance risks and mitigation strategies • Monitor, interpret, and advise on applicable regional laws, regulations, and compliance standards • Advise on and negotiate compliance provisions in commercial agreements • Advise on customer requests related to Cisco’s Ethics & Compliance program and commitment • Advise on and oversee regional Remediation post-investigation • Design and lead regional Ethics & Compliance training – virtual and in-person • Serve as a regional escalation point for high-risk Partner and Supplier due diligence findings • Lead quarterly regional Ethics & Compliance roundtables with control function and regional business leads • Manage and advise on Conflict of Interest (COI) Gifts, Travel and Entertainment (GTE) and Third-Party Due Diligence related escalations • Design and lead regional engagements with key external business partners • As needed/requested, partner with Investigations on policy enforcement matters

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution • 8-12 years of relevant experience in ethics and compliance, corporate law, or a related field, preferably within the technology sector • In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape in the EMEA region • Proven experience advising senior leadership on compliance matters • Strong understanding of compliance program design, implementation, and training • Excellent negotiation and contract review skills • Experience with due diligence processes and managing escalations • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment • Rigorous attention to detail • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
