📋 Description

• Translate business requirements into technical deliverables. • Partner with project Sponsors to understand the need or problem being addressed. • Understand the nuances of the business, complexities, and regulations in the firm and role. • Think ahead of business Partners offering solutions to gaps that might have been overlooked. • Design low maintenance solutions. • Brainstorm creative solutions that address existing technical debt where possible. • Negotiate solutions with both the Stakeholders and developers to balance requests with what is technically possible. • Appropriately push back on scope creep while maintaining good relationships with project sponsors.

🎯 Requirements

• Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience. • Have 7+ years of experience in writing technical deliverables, including but not limited to wireframes, functional specifications, and data flows. • Can understand technical aspects of the project and communicate them with technical resources. • Have proven experience in writing technical specifications for all areas of IT, including but not limited to software development and integration, security, infrastructure, and data management. • Be familiar with at least 3 SDLC methodologies. • Have experience with SDLC tools – Jira is a plus. • Have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and levels. • SQL skillset (preferred). • Have experience with writing logical class models (preferred).
