📋 Description

• Finding Clarity provides personalized counseling services for individuals and families, addressing school problems, depression, anxiety, family and marital conflicts, adoption, behavioral issues, addiction, grief, and trauma • Join the Finding Clarity team with competitive compensation and professional growth opportunities • Assessing and diagnosing clients consistent with DSM-V guidelines • Creating treatment plans specific to client goals, strengths and weaknesses • Providing individual, family or group therapy interventions tailored to client needs • Providing crisis intervention and assessing risk factors of harm to self or others • Referring to alternative or supportive services based on client needs • Providing timely electronic clinical documentation and consulting/supervision with other clinicians • Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and assisting in training and orientation • Attend staff meetings and complete relevant trainings to support business and compliance needs

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s Degree, or higher advanced degree • Licensed in the professional discipline in Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker • Ability to read, write and speak or communicate in English • Exhibits professionalism, courtesy and excellent customer service • Ability to work effectively with people from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality • Complies with state laws for reporting abuse/neglect for children and adults • Experience providing professional counseling services, diagnosis, and multiple therapeutic interventions (preferred) • Experience completing psychosocial assessments and timely progress notes • Experience with electronic medical record maintenance; HIPAA/Privacy Act compliance preferred • Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize independently • Basic math/data entry and computer skills • Able to pass mandatory Criminal Background Check (FBI and state) • Able to pass mandatory Child Abuse Background/Sexual Registry Checks • Able to obtain/maintain Malpractice Insurance (policy required prior to start date) • Must be a team player and pursue continuous professional development
