• Lead a team of Field Account Executives and Account Managers serving Large Districts • Achieve assigned territory quota across all lines of business • Manage and develop the sales pipeline and provide monthly and quarterly forecasts using Salesforce • Develop and adjust strategic/marketing plans based on market data and HMH Insights • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partner with Account Executives to create sales strategies • Execute requirements to secure sales, deliver presentations, address technology issues • Lead and manage sales team: objective setting, appraisals, coaching, 1:1s • Model and present HMH Insights data and academic planning conversations • Manage territory budgets and approve expense reports • Promote collaboration between sales and internal teams
• This position requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s desirable) • 7-10 years sales experience with a proven track record in meeting quota. • 3-5 years management experience preferred. • Educational sales experience required • Teaching skills are desirable. • Proficient in Sales Management Software • Salesforce exp preferred. • Acceptable driving record required. • Ability and willingness to travel 60-70% domestically both by car and air.
• Salary Range $120,000 - $125,000 + uncapped commissions
