📋 Description

• Write and review production code, mainly in Python with some TypeScript • Define architecture, make trade-offs, and drive projects from proposal to production • Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and pair programming • Improve code quality through testing strategy, type hints, static analysis, documentation, and automation • Improve developer experience through faster CI/CD, better build and test tooling, reliable local development environments, and reproducible setups • Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and compiler teams to deliver reliable, low-latency, scalable features • Improve observability, simplify workflows, and reduce engineering toil • Leverage AI/LLM tooling to empower developers and streamline engineering processes

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive hands-on Python development in production systems • Strong system design and scalable architecture experience • Experience leading technical projects and guiding teams through design, implementation, and rollout • Proven mentoring and clear communication in code and design reviews • Experience with testing, pre-commit hooks, documentation, and CI/CD • Comfort with Git, GitHub Actions, and agile practices • Hands-on experience applying AI/LLMs to developer workflows and processes and integrating them safely into systems • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • Cloud and DevOps experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes (bonus) • Infrastructure-as-code and secure software supply chain knowledge (bonus) • Background in developer tooling, including build systems, test frameworks, artifact management, internal libraries, and cluster orchestration (bonus) • Familiarity with quantum frameworks such as Classiq, Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane (bonus) • Familiarity with domain-specific languages (bonus) • Open-source contributions or active involvement in developer communities (bonus)
