📋 Description

• Build and lead processes ensuring the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of ClickHouse cloud infrastructure • Collaborate with Control Plane, Dataplane, Core, Security, Support, Operations, and other engineering teams • Design and implement scalable, secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant distributed systems • Establish and manage service level objectives and service level agreements for ClickHouse Cloud • Implement monitoring and alerting across ClickHouse Cloud infrastructure • Improve incident response and post-mortem analysis, including blameless postmortems • Communicate with impacted customers in collaboration with the support team • Continuously improve ClickHouse service reliability and performance • Plan, enable, and drive chaos initiatives across Engineering teams • Manage on-call processes, escalation practices, and resolution of performance and reliability issues • Develop software platforms and tools to improve ClickHouse Cloud operational and engineering efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field • At least 8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field • Previous experience using ClickHouse in production • Hands-on experience with Go and/or Python • Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform • Understanding of distributed databases and SQL; ClickHouse experience is a major plus • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Docker Swarm • Strong experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet • Solid production debugging skills • Passion for efficiency, availability, scalability, and data governance • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Valid work authorization in the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Poland, or Czech Republic
