📋 Description

• Partner with climate innovators to develop competitive applications for federal and provincial grant funding • Advise clients on project design and commercialization plans • Shape partnership strategies to improve chances of getting funded • Work with senior staff and administrative teams to bring high-quality proposals through the development process • Support multiple proposal projects simultaneously, maintaining quality and meeting tight deadlines • Draft complex technical narratives, work plans, budget justifications, and other key elements of public funding programs • Conduct research and gather internal data for proposals • Serve as a strategic advisor to client teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) • Fluency in English • Minimum of six years of grant writing experience; at least three years as the lead writer on funded grant proposals • Strong scientific or technical knowledge relevant to climate solutions • Experience securing grants from climate-focused federal and provincial agencies • Clear and compelling writing style, with outstanding grammar and research skills • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office • Ability to maintain project schedules and deadlines • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment • Mission-driven, with a clear understanding of the urgency of addressing the climate crisis • Graduate degree preferred; Bilingual writing capability preferred
