📋 Description

• Diagnose procurement inefficiencies and develop solutions to address affordability challenges • Perform analytical tasks, including demand forecasting, pricing analysis, and market dynamics assessments • Design and implement market-shaping strategies to improve procurement efficiency and affordability of commodities • Support negotiations with pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders • Work with GMT leadership and CHAI teams to align strategies with broader health system goals • Prepare presentations, reports, and analyses to inform global policy • Identify and recommend new initiatives aligned with strategic goals • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposal writing

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience • Strong preference for candidates in fast-paced private sector • Proven ability to lead complex projects through all phases • Strong analytical capabilities • Experience with demand forecasting, pricing analysis, market dynamics assessment • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Capable of critical thinking and structured problem-solving in complex environments • Skilled in building and managing relationships with senior executives, government partners, and key stakeholders • Strong political acuity and diplomatic skills • Demonstrated ability to work across different cultural contexts, preferably with experience in LMICs • Willingness to travel up to 40% internationally • Strong expertise in market shaping instruments, procurement processes, donor priorities • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
