📋 Description

• Lead AI and GenAI engagements as the primary specialism within the Professional Services team • Contribute to AWS migration, modernisation, Landing Zone and cloud governance engagements • Own the client-facing pre-sales cycle for AI/GenAI work • Run scoping calls and translate business requirements into technical solutions • Design solutions using Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and associated AWS services • Estimate effort and author commercially sound Statements of Work • Provide strategic advisory services to customers • Act as fractional CTO or technical programme lead for strategic accounts • Maintain long-term advisory relationships and identify expansion opportunities • Set technical direction for delivery engineers and review architecture decisions • Unblock delivery issues and ensure SOW deliverables are met • Participate in hands-on delivery where capacity allows

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrable experience designing and delivering AWS solutions in a consultancy, Professional Services or partner environment • Strong working knowledge of Amazon Bedrock, including Agents, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails and model selection • Strong working knowledge of Amazon SageMaker, including training, inference and pipelines • Experience with agentic AI patterns, tool use, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation methodology and production deployment considerations • Solid grounding in core AWS services including compute, networking, storage, security, identity and serverless • Proven ability to author detailed, commercially sound Statements of Work • Confidence in customer-facing environments, including discovery sessions, architecture presentations and advising C-level stakeholders • Experience with AWS agent frameworks and tooling such as Strands SDK, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Amazon Quick • Experience setting technical direction for delivery teams and quality-assuring engineering output • Experience with Infrastructure as Code; Terraform preferred, or CloudFormation/CDK • Experience delivering AWS migration programmes, including MGN, wave-based migrations and estate separation • Experience with AWS Landing Zone design, multi-account governance, Control Tower or FinOps • Background in regulated industries is desirable • AWS certifications such as ML Specialty or Solutions Architect Professional are desirable • Prior experience building or growing a consultancy practice or capability area is desirable • Commercial mindset, strong communication, rapid learning, strategic thinking, autonomy, collaboration and quality focus
