📋 Description

• Own the technical sales process from introductory meetings through post-sales, including customer satisfaction, upselling and subscription renewals • Support customers' technical needs and discover new use cases for Cloudera technology • Design customer solutions using Cloudera technologies, reference architectures and common patterns • Demonstrate Cloudera products to inspire customer adoption • Partner with Account Managers to communicate solution value and drive successful sales • Present product roadmap and vision • Interface with Cloudera teams to provide customers with a unified experience • Advocate for customer needs to Product Management and Engineering • Participate in external publicity and evangelism through conferences, meetups, webinars and blogs • Align achievements with annual sales targets, team goals and knowledge exchange with peers and the wider community

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a pre-sales context • Ability to create and give technical presentations and demonstrations • Experience with Big Data, Data Warehousing or Relational Databases • Experience with one or more of AWS, Azure or GCP; formal certification is not required but is desirable • Experience with Data Engineering, Data Science or Machine Learning • Experience with Operations, Security and Data Governance within the enterprise • Experience with Unix or Linux • Experience gathering and understanding customer business requirements • Excellent written and verbal communication • Problem solving skills • Willingness to learn, curiosity to discover and drive to make customers successful
