📋 Description

• Responsible for the technical sale of the Cloudflare solution portfolio, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design and adoption roadmap • Act as the technical customer advocate and work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support • Create scalable solutions to meet customer needs and secure the technical win over competitors • Collaborate across the organization to drive customer success, adoption, and implementation guidance • Support customers through solution design, implementation guidance, and adoption planning • Travel to customer offices, conferences, and present talks as required

🎯 Requirements

• Business Fluency in German • Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands • Understanding of “how the internet works” including TCP vs UDP, authoritative vs recursive DNS, firewall role, TLS (SSL), HTTP and client/server quirks • Understanding of how customers make buying decisions and ability to explain ROI • Willingness to travel (10-15 days per quarter) • Passion for technology, ability to explain complex technical concepts in easy-to-understand terms, curiosity, and hands-on builder mindset • Bonus: Previous experience in a pre-sales SE or consulting role • Bonus: Demonstrated experience with a scripting language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Bash) • Bonus: Experience building or contributing to web applications • Bonus: Ability to describe CSRF, XSS and SQLi and Cloudflare's role defending against them • Bonus: Understanding of or experience with regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC-2 • Bonus: Exposure to emerging trends such as SASE and Zero Trust
