📋 Description

• Tracking and resolving tasks related to user management, including onboarding, offboarding, and access management • Provisioning new hosts and maintaining existing production servers across bare metal, public cloud, and private cloud environments • Managing DNS records, domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and decommissioning • Performing security-related tasks, including firewall configuration and regular operating system updates • Monitoring infrastructure, responding to alerts and incidents, and ensuring minimal disruption to services • Handling requests through the Jira ticketing system within agreed response times • Creating new services and integrating them into the existing infrastructure based on specifications provided by development teams • Developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate routine administration tasks • Writing and maintaining clear documentation for services, tasks, and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Good working knowledge of RHEL-based operating systems, including CentOS and AlmaLinux • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals • Experience with different compute environments, including bare metal servers, virtual machines, and containers • Basic understanding of infrastructure and service monitoring • Familiarity with Ansible or other configuration management tools • Proficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation • Ability and eagerness to learn new concepts quickly, investigate problems independently, and find effective solutions • Nice to have: Experience with at least one commercial cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Familiarity with a scripting language such as Bash or Python • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins • Familiarity with the Git version control system • Familiarity with FreeIPA, LDAP, or Google Workspace administration
