📋 Description
• Manage 2 cross functional teams of software engineers and QA - approx 10-12 people • Grow, coach, and develop the team members to help them progress in their careers • Be actively involved in hiring engineers for your teams, making sure it’s well-staffed • Manage the teams’ delivery • Represent the teams in planning and product meetings • Work with the rest of the engineering leadership on engineering-wide changes • Measure velocity and improve efficiency for the team • Drive innovation in engineering processes, strategies and adoption of new technologies • Maintain a sustainable, healthy, and collaborative culture aligned with the company values as we navigate through hyper-growth
🎯 Requirements
• Experience of serving in an Engineering Manager role • Experience with managing a team who built an AI enabled product is a plus • Strong technical background: experience in building complex B2B SaaS products is a plus • You are highly organized. With many people doing many things in a fast-moving company, strong organizational skills—both for yourself and for the team—will be required • You are able to weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make rapid decisions • You have the skills to align people with a common goal • You are direct but careful with feedback, both given and received • You have worked with different delivery methodologies and are able to apply these based on the teams’ maturity
