• Drive and enhance Coats’s ethics objectives • Support all aspects of the Group's whistleblowing process • Ensure ethical compliances are maintained across the Group • Build supplier code programs and ensure they remain on track with the 2026 plan • Liaise with the Group Head of Ethics and Supplier Compliance to deliver Coats' speak-up objectives • Lead Divisional and Functional leadership teams in advancing the ethics agenda • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver accurate investigation outcomes and follow-up actions • Prepare reports for the Board, GET, Divisions, Units, Functions, and other stakeholders on investigations and ethics initiatives • Identify ethical trends, issues, and concerns and work with units and functions to mitigate risks • Review country teams' supplier code programs in consultation with BVQI and Procurement teams • Resolve ethical and compliance issues following audits, GIA reviews, and whistleblowing investigations • Provide guidelines on supplier code audits and communications to procurement teams • Analyze supplier risks and report high-risk suppliers, countries, issues, and trends to senior stakeholders and the Ethics Committee • Drive improvements to the supplier-code digital tool for prompt redline and high-risk notifications and alerts • Support GIA on risk and ethics matters • Manage fraud risk, including review, reporting, resolution, and action plans
• At least 7 years of industry experience in internal controls/GIA and/or risk management • Demonstrated strong investigation skills • Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels • Strong stakeholder relationship and management skills • Ability to articulate complex matters simply and concisely • Self-starter able to quickly prioritize and manage multiple tasks • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent) with at least 7 years post-qualification experience (desirable) • Experience running a whistleblowing channel/ethics hotline (desirable) • Ability to apply judgment in ambiguous situations (desirable) • Excellent presentation and writing skills (desirable)
