📋 Description

• Perform at a high level and lead your team in efficiently building solutions to revolutionize the banking experience at some of the industry leading financial institutions. • Coach, mentor, guide, and motivate a team of engineers from different backgrounds. • Help your team(s) deliver code in a high trust environment using agile ceremonies, with a strong connection with stakeholders. • Drive predictable outcomes by overseeing the team’s planning, managing resource allocation and ensuring the team's work is tied to clear objectives and metrics aligned with organizational goals. • Work with the engineering leadership team to define, implement and champion dept-wide standards and processes. • Contribute to the collaborative on-call rotation, supporting the systems and ensuring application availability/reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+yrs of proven experience managing engineering teams: coaching, mentoring, guiding, performance management, setting individual and team objectives and goals • You have significant experience with success and failure, which helps you make better decisions. • Experience working with Product Managers and Designers and collaborating well as a group to drive forward success for the engineering team. • Effective at nurturing relationships and managing multiple stakeholders across different teams. • Someone who is genuinely passionate about our CHEERS values and is committed to living them out every day. • Driven by the value that ‘how we win matters’ and a passion for building inclusive, collaborative teams that put people first. You strive to create an inspiring and motivating team environment with an open communication culture. • Prior experience working as a Software Developer on commercial web applications using modern programming languages (PHP, Python, Ruby, Go, Rust, Java, C++, NodeJS, etc). • Demonstrated passion for innovation and continuous learning, including a strong foundational understanding and strategic desire to explore and adopt emerging technologies like AI/LLMs to push boundaries and effectively address business and customer challenges.
