📋 Description
• Use SolidWorks to create 3D models and detailed mechanical assemblies for custom-fabricated systems • Generate shop drawings and production-ready documentation directly from models • Ensure parametric modeling standards are followed for efficient design iteration • Communicate effectively with in-house engineers to clarify requirements and expectations • Manage your own workload independently with a focus on quick-turn execution when needed
🎯 Requirements
• SolidWorks: 5+ years of experience using SolidWorks in an industrial or manufacturing context • Ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality mechanical designs with minimal onboarding • Proficient in preparing manufacturing-ready drawings and assemblies • Strong understanding of fabrication practices, tolerancing, and DFM principles • Nice to Have: Experience in the custom equipment, automation, or packaging sectors • Familiarity with AutoCAD (though rarely used in this role) • Willingness to work on short-term, fast-turnaround projects
