• Support senior economists with economic, financial, and data analyses • Track major economic indicators of Central European economies, including CIS countries and sectors, and analyze their impact on country risk and insolvency trends • Draft weekly news summaries for Central Europe • Contribute to publications issued by Group/Central Europe Economic Research • Prepare presentations for clients and external events • Deliver ad-hoc research on key regional topics • Work proficiently with economic databases and large datasets • Create and work on econometric models
• At least Master’s degree in economics, banking, insurance or statistics • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience or internship in a similar role/profile • English at C1 level • Willingness to work in a multicultural, multinational environment • Good understanding of macroeconomics and country risk analysis concepts and principles • Excellent writing skills • Highly analytical and strong fact-finding skills • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proficient use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Experience using Macrobond is an asset but not necessary
