📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend and frontend payments systems and infrastructure that power multiple products across Coinbase. • Serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for key projects, driving them from design to production with high accountability. • Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers and senior leadership to turn our vision into a tangible roadmap. • Mentor and train other team members and contribute to building a strong, inclusive, and high-performing engineering culture. • Troubleshoot and debug complex fullstack issues, ensuring performance, stability, reliability, and security.

🎯 Requirements

• You have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering. • Strong software engineering skills; you can build reliable backend services and ship fast, accessible UIs that handle real-world edge cases. • Strong proficiency in backend technologies (e.g., Golang) and API design. • You have experience with modern FE stack - JavaScript/TypeScript, React. • Strong collaboration skills with product, design, and engineering teams. • You know what high quality code and software engineering processes look like and know how to foster an environment that creates them. • You’re passionate about building an open financial system that brings the world together.
