📋 Description

• Own daily operational accounting for CBFSE, including recording journal entries, preparing supporting schedules, and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations. • Execute daily reconciliation reporting and other periodic regulatory submissions required by CySEC, the Central Bank of Cyprus, and applicable CIF frameworks. • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Source-to-Pay, and engineering teams to ensure proper accounting treatment and accurate financial reporting. • Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation, analysis, and timely responses within your areas of responsibility. • Drive data analysis against business drivers to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and recommend process improvements to strengthen accounting operations.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance within a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF), Big Four firm, or financial services/fintech company. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, or CPA) preferred; CySEC certifications (Advanced and/or AML Certificate) a plus. • Demonstrated working knowledge of IFRS, with hands-on experience applying IFRS standards to operational accounting and financial reporting. • Proficiency in NetSuite, FloQast, and G-Suite, with advanced Excel skills applied to reconciliations and financial analysis. • Familiarity with CySEC and CIF regulatory reporting requirements, including the ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidance to accounting processes. • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
