📋 Description

• Own the design, development, and reliability of highly performant, highly available backend systems serving traders worldwide • Build robust, extensible architecture that supports multiple instrument types (Spot, Futures, Perpetual Futures) and scales with growing demand • Partner closely with Product and Design to translate product vision into best-in-class trading experiences • Lead complex technical projects end-to-end, setting high standards for code quality, system design, and engineering rigor • Strengthen the team by providing technical guidance and career mentorship to engineers across the subteam • Drive high-value feature development from ideation through production, informed by customer needs and comprehensive observability

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of backend software engineering experience, with demonstrated ownership of production services through multiple stages of growth and evolution • Proven track record designing and scaling high-availability, low-latency distributed systems in a production environment • Experience leading complex, multi-quarter technical projects as the senior technical anchor, including architecture decisions, trade-off analysis, and cross-team coordination • Deep proficiency in at least one backend language (Golang preferred), with hands-on experience operating datastores such as MongoDB, Redis, or similar at scale • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, elevate team standards, and drive engineering culture improvements with measurable outcomes • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
