📋 Description

• Report to the Senior Manager, People Solutions • Own day-to-day configuration and support of core Workday HCM modules for the global workforce • Build and maintain Workato-based automations and prototype agentic workflows using tools like Claude, connecting Workday, an applicant tracking system, and other People Technology systems • Own configuration and integration upkeep for Workday Absence Management, Time Tracking, Advanced Compensation, and Benefits • Manage the full lifecycle of security access requests and business process configuration • Develop actionable and trustworthy Workday reports • Test and deploy new Workday functionality and semi-annual releases, flagging issues early • Get up to speed on configuration and automation environments, shadow processes, and build team relationships within the first month • Independently handle configuration, testing, and support requests across four modules and ship an automation or agentic workflow prototype within the third month • Take full ownership of module scope and deliver automation or process improvements beyond Workday HCM within the sixth month

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on Workday configuration and integrations experience, including administering Absence Management, Time Tracking, Advanced Compensation, or Benefits • Experience with an iPaaS/automation tool such as Workato is a plus • Experience with an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse or similar) is a plus • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot) to solve real-world business challenges, drive measurable outcomes, or streamline workflows • A bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required • Comfortable managing Workday security, reporting, and complex business process configuration end to end • Clear communication of technical system changes to stakeholders across the business • Excited to build with tools like Claude and Workato and improve processes beyond Workday HCM • Comfortable stepping into a fixed-term engagement with a clear scope and timeline • Self-directed and comfortable building strong working relationships remotely
