📋 Description

• Lead globally distributed engineering teams supporting approximately 20–30 software engineers • Inspire engineers to grow, learn, and develop • Remove blockers before they become problems • Create an environment of autonomy, trust, and collaboration • Balance delivery speed with engineering excellence and compliance expectations • Help teams focus on meaningful outcomes rather than ticket completion • Champion modern engineering practices, cloud-native thinking, automation, and AI-enabled ways of working • Drive adoption of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) • Support high-performing scrum teams • Collaborate with Product, Delivery, and Engineering leaders to shape products and engineering practices • Help build an empowered, inclusive engineering culture

🎯 Requirements

• Strong track record of leading and growing high-performing engineering teams • Experience hiring and retaining exceptional engineering talent • Prior experience as a software engineer • Passion for modern software engineering and continuous improvement • Confidence working across varied systems, technologies, and product landscapes • Pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with a bias toward action • Ability to simplify complexity and help teams move with confidence • Belief in experimentation, fast feedback, and learning through iteration • Experience with AWS and TypeScript would be a big bonus • Role offered on a 2-year fixed-term basis via an international contractor agreement through an Employer of Record or umbrella company • Ability to work remotely from Poland
