📋 Description

• You’ll be the kind of leader who: • Inspires engineers to grow, learn, and push themselves further • Removes blockers before they become problems • Creates an environment where autonomy, trust, and collaboration thrive • Balances speed with engineering excellence and compliance expectations • Helps teams focus on meaningful outcomes, not just ticket completion • Champions modern engineering practices, cloud-native thinking, automation, and AI-enabled ways of working • Drives adoption of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and supports high-performing scrum teams • Works closely with Product, Delivery, and Engineering leaders to shape what we build and how we build it. • Most importantly, you’ll help create a culture where engineers feel genuinely empowered to be themselves, contribute openly, and do work they’re proud of.

🎯 Requirements

• A strong track record of leading and growing high-performing engineering teams • Experience hiring and retaining exceptional engineering talent • A passion for modern software engineering and continuous improvement • Confidence working across varied systems, technologies, and product landscapes • A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with a bias toward action • The ability to simplify complexity and help teams move with confidence • A belief in experimentation, fast feedback, and learning through iteration • Experience with AWS and TypeScript would be a big bonus.
