• Overall, in charge of engine room operations and maintenance of all machinery • Ensure safe, efficient operation of main engine, auxiliaries, and electrical systems • Plan and execute preventive maintenance and repairs • Monitor fuel consumption, lube oil, and engine performance • Lead and manage engine crew, assign duties, and conduct training • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Experience in repairs and dry docking is required • Experience with a multicultural working environment • Holder of a valid COC (STWC Reg III/2) with verification • Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position • Good communication and leadership skills • Effective English communication • Safety culture and mindset • Minimum experience requirements: 8 months in Rank with the same type/size of vessel • Experience on Electronic engines is mandatory • Experience in FRAMO and/or Steam Turbines cargo pump system is mandatory • Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended
