📋 Description
• Support a Medicaid Prior Authorization (PA) program reviewing ABA therapy services • Apply expertise in ABA treatment models, Medicaid ABA policy, medical necessity criteria, and nationally recognized ABA practice standards when evaluating authorization requests • Review PA requests, ensure consistent application of Medicaid policy, and support appropriate service delivery
🎯 Requirements
• Must reside in Alabama • BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Psychiatry, or related field • Active Alabama license as a Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Psychiatrist • Experience with ABA treatment review, Medicaid policy, or utilization management preferred
