📋 Description
• Lead enterprise-wide operational functions across complex organizations • Report to executive operational leadership such as the CAO, COO, or SVP Operations • Manage multiple executive stakeholders • Apply project management practices including process mapping, project charters, milestones, and operational planning • Manage vendors and service providers • Lead emergency preparedness, safety planning, or business continuity activities • Assess operations, identify risks and gaps, and present future recommendations • Build governance, policies, operational standards, and scalable processes • Proactively identify risks and present solution options to senior leadership
🎯 Requirements
• Master's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; candidates without a Master's may be considered with 10+ years of management experience • Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in Operations, Administrative Services, Healthcare, or Human Services • Experience leading enterprise-wide operational functions • Experience reporting to executive operational leadership (CAO, COO, SVP Operations, or equivalent) • Strong strategic thinking with an enterprise mindset • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Experience managing multiple executive stakeholders across complex organizations • Strong project management mindset, including process mapping, project charters, milestones, and operational planning • Experience managing vendors and service providers • Experience with emergency preparedness, safety planning, or business continuity • Strong operational assessment skills, including identifying current state, risks, gaps, and future recommendations • Experience building governance, policies, operational standards, and scalable processes • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluent English • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership • Ability to proactively identify risks and present solution options • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Visio, and Copilot • Nice-to-have: experience in large healthcare systems, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or global healthcare organizations • Nice-to-have: experience in highly regulated environments, international or global corporations, organizational transformation, 50+ operational sites, centralized shared services, operational model transitions, or healthcare operations with cross-functional leadership
