• The Chief Engineer reports to the Captain and Marine Management Team • Ensure the vessel and its equipment is properly maintained • Ensure safety of the crew and the vessel • Operate vessel in compliance with company policies & procedures • Responsible for operation and maintenance of all shipboard equipment • Carry out maintenance and repairs in engine room, factories and deck areas • Carry out daily inspections of the vessel and its equipment • Plan refits, ensure vessel is ready to sail and manage turnaround and maintenance
🎯 Requirements
• Valid Engineer's motor certificate, class 2 or greater • A commercial fishing license • Valid Passport • Seafarers Medical • MED WHMIS
