📋 Description

• Build and maintain the Django backend powering the consumer dashboard and B2B platform • Develop APIs for the consumer dashboard and customer reporting • Improve performance and reliability in Celery and RabbitMQ pipelines • Integrate third-party services such as payment providers and identity providers, including Stripe and WorkOS SSO • Perform light frontend work using HTMX and occasional React components • Own features from initial development through production follow-up • Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving • Work directly with the founders on product and technical direction • Pick up real work during the first week

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years building production web applications • 3+ years with Python and Django • Production experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis • Working knowledge of data structures, concurrency, SQL, and system design • Strong written communication • Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones • Self-direction and follow-through • DRF and/or django-ninja • Postgres tuning and query analysis • Kubernetes and AWS • Stripe, WorkOS SSO, or other third-party API integrations • HTMX, React, or both • Background in consumer privacy or adjacent industries • Experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, etc.)
