📋 Description

• Contribute to the core edge platform running across diverse hardware in a hybrid edge-cloud architecture • Develop and integrate video management capabilities, including streaming, recording, and real-time AI processing • Design and optimize low-latency, high-performance workloads at the edge • Build secure, efficient communication pipelines between edge devices and cloud systems • Work with AI/ML engineers to deploy and optimize on-device models • Own performance under load by profiling CPU and memory, identifying bottlenecks, and fixing them • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning across the stack

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Go, Rust, or TypeScript; at least one required, ideally two • Proven experience with multithreaded and concurrent programming • Experience with performance profiling and optimization under real production load • CPU and memory management on dedicated hardware • Experience with Docker and containerization • Experience building for edge computing or embedded systems • Solid networking and distributed systems fundamentals • Experience designing and delivering real-time, low-latency systems • Video streaming or pipeline development experience • Storage systems and data management at the edge • Cloud services integration, including AWS S3, GCP, MQTT, or Kafka • AI/ML model deployment on edge devices • Security concepts including encryption, secure communication, and zero trust
