📋 Description

• Contribute to the core edge platform running across diverse hardware in a hybrid edge-cloud architecture • Develop and integrate video management capabilities including streaming, recording, and real-time AI processing • Design and optimize low-latency, high-performance workloads at the edge • Build secure, efficient communication pipelines between edge devices and cloud systems • Work with AI/ML engineers to deploy and optimize on-device models • Own performance under load by profiling CPU and memory, identifying bottlenecks, and fixing them • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning across the stack

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Go, Rust, or TypeScript (at least one, ideally two) • Proven experience with multithreaded and concurrent programming • Experience with performance profiling and optimization under real production load on dedicated hardware • Experience deploying and managing containerized workloads with Docker • Experience building for resource-constrained environments using edge computing or embedded systems • Solid networking and distributed systems fundamentals • Experience with real-time systems and low-latency design • Video streaming or pipeline development experience (nice to have) • Storage systems and data management at the edge (nice to have) • Cloud services integration including AWS S3, GCP, MQTT, or Kafka (nice to have) • AI/ML model deployment on edge devices (nice to have) • Security concepts including encryption, secure communication, and zero trust (nice to have)
