Common Securitization Solutions (CSS) is the largest and most technologically advanced mortgage securitization platform in the financial services industry, playing a critical role in the Single-Family housing market. CSS manages the issuance and administration for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s Single-Family Mortgage-Backed Security (SF MBS) business and operates the Common Securitization Platform (CSP), a cloud-based platform that centralizes Agency MBS data. The company focuses on ensuring liquidity in the primary mortgage market, enabling Americans to purchase homes and refinance mortgages, while utilizing advanced technology for data management and reporting.

📋 Description

• Architect and maintain mission-critical cloud infrastructure • Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using AWS services • Build robust CI/CD pipelines • Develop monitoring and alerting systems • Automate operational processes • Maintain high availability and performance of large-scale cloud platforms • Implement proactive monitoring solutions • Collaborate with InfoSec teams to build security-first infrastructure • Write clean, maintainable code in Python and other modern languages • Create comprehensive unit and integration tests • Build internal tools and dashboards • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related technical field required • 3+ years professional experience managing large-scale, highly available cloud platforms • 3+ years hands-on Python development focusing on automation and infrastructure • 2+ years deep experience with AWS core services (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, API Gateway) • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform) • Strong Programming: Advanced Python skills plus proficiency in at least one other language (Go, JavaScript, Java, or similar) • Deep understanding of AWS services, networking, security, and cost optimization • Expert-level experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CodePipeline, GitHub Actions) • Hands-on experience with logging, metrics, and tracing solutions • Working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration. • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate or DevOps Engineer) preferred.
