📋 Description

• Provide senior technical leadership supporting Air Force IT systems development and operations • Focus on database architecture, performance, and data management • Interface with customer/Program Management Office • Support and coordinate with capability delivery teams including development Scrums, Cloud Engineering, and DevSecOps Platform • Ensure database performance, availability, integrity, and security across all environments • Tune the database, monitor database logs, install software and patches • Maintain database and configuration on each database server and/or Cloud One • Coordinate firewall access and release schedules with the PMO • Resolve system anomalies, develop database strategies, and monitor production systems

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizenship Required • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Secret Clearance • DoD 8140 intermediate certification or DoD 8570 IAM Level II certifications or higher • Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Technology Management, or a degree in a closely related field • 5-7 years of relevant experience • 3+ years Database management in an AWS Gov Cloud environment (RDS) • Security+ CE or CCNA Security certification required • Knowledge of XMLS, AWS and Azure related technologies and utilities
