• take on innovative and responsible tasks to ensure smooth 24/7 operation within the framework of technical 3rd level support • help colleagues to get even better • monitor and troubleshoot the customer's IT infrastructure • provide technical solutions for customer concerns, such as compromised servers, managed server tasks, website and server migrations or error analysis on websites • document collection, server construction or provisioning, and proactive monitoring of the internal infrastructure • be responsible for the night shift • help customers from other time zones directly • work on problems more intensively and try new solutions when ticket volume is low • install, configure, and administer servers, networks, applications for customer benefit • familiarize with new technologies and receive support in professional development through intensive training
• completed technically oriented vocational training in the IT sector or relevant professional experience in the IT sector • multiple years of experience in a similar role • very good knowledge of administration under Linux (Shell/Terminal) • service-oriented, independent and responsible action in technical customer support, in dealing with hardware and in Windows server administration • English language skills (mandatory, as this is our company language) • initial knowledge of Bash scripting and basic programming skills is desirable • experience in dealing with databases (SQL)
