• Responsible for Application Engineering activities for Conveyor Products. • Implementing the segment's strategy while maintaining balance between strategic initiatives and operational tasks. • Providing on-site support and troubleshooting applications for our main customer in Arizona. • Initiate and supervise implementation of related Application Engineering activities (Customer projects, technical changes, quality improvements). • Conduct field inspections, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for Conveyor Products. • Safeguarding committed standards of quality guidelines (internal and external). • Segment strategy development and execution with their area of responsibility including deployment to and through their teams. • Analyze the market and technology and provide input to business strategies. • Attend strategic meetings with customers, conferences etc. to provide technical input or present the best engineered solution as possible. • Select and suggest best suited product specification for the application.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering(preferred) or related technical degree. • 2+ years of experience in application engineering or a comparable function in the mining industry • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong MS Office suite experience (Excel and PPT) • Strong problem-solving skills • Up to 50% travel to customer sites for application support, project execution, and field troubleshooting • 5+ years of Mining Industry experience (additional) • Experience with industrial conveyor systems (additional) • Experience in direct customer facing roles (additional) • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
