âą Independently lead the payroll tax team (one to two direct reports, both technical and disciplinary responsibility) âą Subject-matter expert in payroll tax with central responsibility for payroll tax special topics within the German sub-group (including Global Mobility) âą Prepare payroll tax opinions (e.g., on severance payments, benefits in kind, global mobility issues, travel expenses) âą Develop and implement policies and organizational instructions (e.g., in connection with Cross-Border Mobile Work, benefits in kind) âą Central responsibility for the benefits-in-kind tool CITAX at German group companies and for its further development (cross-departmental, complex process) âą Central responsibility for leading/coordinating German payroll tax audits, including associated key decisions âą Interface role with the HR organization and the service provider Accenture (following the outsourcing of part of the HR organization) on payroll tax matters.
âą University degree in economics/business administration or law âą Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in industry or a (large) consulting firm; tax advisor qualification advantageous âą Extensive experience in payroll tax âą Experience with international assignments advantageous âą Experience in process and project management âą Good understanding of the interrelations between payroll tax, social security, VAT, and (transfer pricing) âą Initial leadership experience advantageous âą Very good German and good English, both written and spoken âą Proactive approach and enjoyment of cross-functional project work âą Above-average commitment, initiative, and assertiveness
