📋 Description

• Administer and fine-tune MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server databases • Troubleshoot and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple dialects • Design scalable, high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) architectures • Resolve performance bottlenecks in large-scale environments • Manage user roles, backups, restorations, and version upgrades • Implement database changes with minimal business disruption • Collaborate on projects, translating business needs into technical solutions • Maintain documentation and build knowledge repositories • Evaluate new database technologies and licensing options • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in database administration • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Proven ability to lead projects independently and drive results • Experience with cloud-based database platforms • Background in IT infrastructure is a plus • Certifications in MySQL or PostgreSQL are a bonus • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT preferred
