📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and ensure accurate, timely accounting and reporting delivery • Lead and oversee full-cycle accounting and month-end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR and financial statement preparation • Review accounting work and ensure quality, accuracy and consistency across client deliverables • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and financial analysis • Work directly with founders, CFOs and senior finance teams to answer questions, resolve issues and provide accounting guidance • Manage client deadlines, priorities and deliverables, and proactively communicate when attention is needed • Support year-end compilations, audits, reviews and tax-related work • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems and controls • Coach and support junior accounting team members • Own complex accounting issues and help determine the right approach • Support advisory and finance projects • Build strong, long-term client relationships and serve as a trusted accounting point of contact

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience • Significant experience in full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting • Significant experience in a client-facing accounting, public accounting, audit or advisory environment • Big Four experience is required • Confidence owning full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting • Ability to review work, manage priorities and ensure accurate, timely client deliverables • Comfortable working directly with clients, founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals • Clear communication in English • Role is 100% in English, internally and with clients • Experience reviewing or mentoring other accountants • Ability to provide guidance, give feedback and take responsibility for team work quality • Ability to work with at least partial overlap with Eastern Time business hours • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Taxprep or CaseWare is a plus • Experience with SaaS, technology, fintech or Web3 companies is a plus • CPA designation or active CPA pursuit is a plus
