📋 Description
• Collect, clean and transform raw data into usable formats for analysis. • Develop and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines. • Configure and manage relational (SQL), non-relational (NoSQL) databases and data warehouses. • Collaborate with data scientists and other analytics professionals to provide actionable insights. • Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems. • Follow and enforce best practices and standards and ensure team members apply them as well. • Actively identify and mitigate risks and issues in data systems.
🎯 Requirements
• 5 years of experience as a data engineer. • Intermediate knowledge of Spark / PySpark and Azure tools (such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, ADLS, Event Hubs, etc.). • Advanced knowledge of Power BI. • Programming skills in Python. • Proven experience in data engineering projects. • Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases. • Knowledge of optimization and tuning techniques. • Ability to follow work standards (DevOps). • Azure certifications (for example, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate). • Databricks certification at intermediate or advanced level (Data Engineer Associate or Professional). • Strong familiarity with Spark computing tools. • Solid experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Cosmos, etc. • Proficiency with event streaming platforms like Event Hubs, Kafka or MSK. • Track record of technical leadership in projects. • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. • Leadership skills, team mentoring and assertive task delegation. • Ability to identify problems and drive their resolution.
