• Lead the ingestion and integration of data from multiple sources (core banking, credit bureaus, payment networks, CRM, digital channels) into the FICO Platform (e.g., Data Management, Decision Modeler, Strategy/Decision Flow) using APIs, streaming (Kafka), CDC and batch processing; • Design and implement data modeling and architecture for decisioning (raw/curated/serving layers; schemas for features, rules and score inputs; event sourcing) and establish data contracts with product squads; • Develop low-latency data pipelines for real-time decisioning (sub-100 ms / sub-second where applicable) and robust analytical batch pipelines for model training/refresh and regulatory reporting; • Implement and manage end-to-end data quality and observability strategies (syntactic/semantic validations, SLIs/SLOs, data drift/feature drift), and establish data catalog and lineage (e.g., Collibra/Purview/Atlan) and metadata management for explainability (audit trails); • Ensure enforcement of access policies (IAM, RBAC/ABAC), protection of sensitive data (PII/PCI), regulatory compliance (LGPD, PCI-DSS), encryption, masking/tokenization and environment segregation; • Provision serving layers for FICO decision engines (rules/strategies), MLOps/feature store for risk/fraud/propensity models; integrate with consumption channels (REST/GraphQL APIs) and orchestrate/version decisions; • Collaborate with Risk/Analytics, Fraud, Marketing, IT teams and FICO partners; ensure operational sustainment of pipelines (SLA/SLO), manage incidents and drive continuous improvement; • Apply DevOps/DataOps principles including versioning (Git), CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions), infrastructure as code (Terraform), automated testing, environment promotion and cost management (FinOps).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field; • Postgraduate degree or MBA is a plus; • 5–8 years of solid experience in data engineering, with proven experience on the FICO Platform (Decision Management/Decision Modeler/Blaze Advisor, Decision Flows/Strategies) or related solutions (Falcon, TRIAD, Customer Dialogue Manager); • Strong expertise in data integration via REST APIs, messaging (Kafka) and Change Data Capture (CDC); • Proficiency in advanced SQL and programming (Python/Scala/Java); • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), data lakes/warehouses (Delta Lake/Lakehouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse/Redshift) and orchestrators (Airflow/ADF/Composer); • Experience with data governance, data quality and security (LGPD/PCI-DSS, PII), catalog/lineage tools and monitoring (Datadog, Prometheus, Monte Carlo).
