📋 Description

• Gathering, preparing, and loading historical cost data from internal and external sources • Producing reports and insights from gathered data • Monitoring and assisting with estimate data quality, including meta data health checks, line item reviews, and coaching team members on proper data standards • Developing a foundational understanding of CMiC accounting system data (projects, job cost, subcontracts, vendors, departments, and changes) • Gathering and reviewing economic data for escalation analysis • Updating the Beck Cost Index and assisting with quarterly projection updates • Producing escalation reports for specific date ranges and locations • Contributing to the bi-annual Beck Cost Report by preparing comparisons, updating workbooks, and incorporating internal feedback • Using Precon Analytics dashboards to provide insights or as tools for tasks

🎯 Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of building construction • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Willingness to learn and be mentored under talented Senior Preconstruction Managers • Interest in the integrated project delivery method • Experience with DAX, Power Query, and data modeling for Power BI is a plus • Background in economic data gathering and reviewing
