📋 Description

• Ensure implementation of all clinic policies and procedures; recommend policy and procedure updates and changes, and shape evidence-based policy decisions to provide clients with the most up-to-date treatment available in addictions care. • Ensure timely and complete documentation of treatment records, medication security, and any other documentation required by federal, state, and local agencies. • Ensure that Guidelight Health protects the rights and confidentiality of all clients. • Document findings and decision-making about care in electronic health record. • Maintain timely and appropriate communication and attend meetings as requested. • Facilitate appropriate communication and referrals with outside professional as needed. • Comply with other ad hoc requests and projects as assigned. • Maintain a strong policy knowledge of and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local rules, laws, and regulations as well as CARF requirements, policies and procedures. • Maintain knowledge of and compliance with CFR-related privacy principles and HIPAA policies and procedures. • Participate in federal and state mental health training and continuing education as needed to perform in the position safely and effectively. • Interact with all staff in a positive and motivational fashion supporting the clinic’s mission and commitment to client experience.

🎯 Requirements

• Physicians are required to have an active license in the State of North Carolina. • All Medical Providers must have Schedule II-V prescriptive authority from the State of North Carolina. • A Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registry license and active x-waiver. • An active National Provider Identifier (NPI). • Experience treating mental health disorder. • A winning mentality!
