📋 Description

• Guide platform engineering best practices and oversee core platform and self-service tool development. • Define and execute the platform vision, set priorities, and align initiatives with organizational goals addressing engineering pain points. • Mentor and grow engineers and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture. • Partner with developers and leadership teams to deliver value and drive adoption. • Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency; drive automation and observability. • Treat the platform as a product—focus on developer experience, gather feedback, and measure impact (e.g., adoption, DORA metrics).

🎯 Requirements

• Strong background in DevOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and modern software architecture. • Deep Expertise with tools such as GitLab, SonarQube, LaunchDarkly, Terraform, Pulumi and Backstage. • Proven experience helping to build and mentor high-performing engineering teams. • Product-oriented mindset with ability to define strategy and prioritize features. • Strong experience with Observability/Telemetry platforms to provide insight into both Infrastructure and Workloads. • Strong Scripting Experience (Python Preferred). • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • 10+ years in software/platform engineering, 3+ years in senior/principal roles. • Experience with Microservice Development and Support. • Experience delivering scalable developer platforms and productivity tools. • Bachelor’s or master's in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience.
