📋 Description

• Manage and expand assigned accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities • Prospect, qualify, and close sales to meet and exceed territory quotas • Serve as a trusted partner to customers, providing both pre- and post-sales support • Generate leads, build pipeline, and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share • Analyze market segments and customer needs to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts • Utilize structured call planning and territory management to stay organized and effective • Deliver customized sales presentations and participate in trade shows, promotions, and customer training events • Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market dynamics to inform strategy • Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction • Address customer concerns proactively and develop solutions that strengthen long-term relationships • Provide accurate sales forecasts, weekly updates, and maintain detailed account records

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred • 3+ years of direct sales experience, ideally within the building products industry • Strong understanding of dealer, distribution, and/or two-step sales channels (depending on brand) • Proven ability to negotiate, problem-solve, and close deals effectively • Familiarity with competitive products and market dynamics • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience with sales planning, budgeting, and T&E expense management • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed goals • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
