📋 Description

• Perform daily audits on provider appeals for completeness and accuracy • Apply client specific coding guidelines when applicable • Stay current on coding guidelines • Use Cotiviti applications to processes CV appeals • Review quality feedback from QA • Communicate findings and suggestions to Team Lead • Provide teaching, mentoring and oversight when requested • Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan • Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required • Nationally certified medical coder (CPC, CCS, etc.) • At least 1-2 years of medical coding experience • Experience in CPC coding required • Adherence to official coding guidelines and regulatory compliance • Excellent written and verbal skills • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy • Skills in organization and time management • Ability to read and understand medical record documentation • Computer and technology literate
