📋 Description

• keep our compensation platform reliable, resilient, and delightful • building quality in rather than inspecting it at the end • own every test strategy, automation, and quality gate • lead quality strategy end-to-end with minimal oversight • improve your team's confidence in deployments and reduce manual verification • build reliable test infrastructure that runs in CI/CD • improve system quality through thoughtful test coverage and better observability • establish proper test pyramids, observability patterns, documentation • contribute to quality standards and best practices • collaborate effectively with product for resilient systems

🎯 Requirements

• strong experience with modern frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or similar) • proficient in at least one language (TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Elixir) • experience with pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) • comfortable with contract testing, REST/GraphQL validation. • familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Sentry) • works well embedded in cross-functional teams • can articulate quality risks and trade-offs clearly • experience with mobile testing (Maestro, Appium) - nice-to-have • background in fintech, payments, or regulated industries - nice-to-have
