📋 Description

• Lead quality strategy end-to-end with minimal oversight • Build and maintain meaningful test automation • Build reliable test infrastructure running in CI/CD with fast feedback, reporting, and actionable failure signals • Improve system quality through test coverage, observability, reduced flakiness, monitoring, and alerting • Establish test pyramids, observability patterns, and documentation • Lead test strategy for features end-to-end and own quality outcomes • Conduct constructive code reviews and share knowledge with engineers • Contribute to quality standards and best practices • Bring quality perspectives into product discovery, identify risks, challenge assumptions, and help build resilient systems • Collaborate across product, operations, infrastructure, and external-provider integrations • Coordinate testing across Portugal, Italy, and Spain markets • Coach and influence teams without authority, building trust and demonstrating value • Measure reliability, defect escape rate, test coverage, pipeline stability, cycle time, release confidence, test suite health, and team velocity

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or similar • Proficient in at least one programming language: TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Elixir • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins • Comfortable with contract testing and REST/GraphQL validation • Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Sentry • Ability to work embedded in cross-functional teams • Ability to articulate quality risks and trade-offs clearly • English mandatory • Portuguese, Spanish, or Italian is a plus • Experience with mobile testing using Maestro or Appium is a nice-to-have • Background in fintech, payments, or regulated industries is a nice-to-have
