📋 Description

• build, coordinate and support the What Works Climate Solutions Network • enhance the use of high-quality evidence in climate decision-making • ensure evidence meets policymakers’ needs • promote reliable approaches for synthesizing evidence • foster shared solutions and break down silos • encourage collaboration across sectors • establish best practices in evidence use • build towards the next Summit in late 2026/early 2027 • communicate with funders and decision-makers • contribute to planning and preparation with both funders and evidence users • guide network member contribution • secure the network's presence and relevance to the geography of the Summit

🎯 Requirements

• existing and growing networks within climate communities and decision makers • strong communication skills in English, with bilingual French highly desirable • experienced in partnership management and delivery • experience in coordinating, presenting at and hosting regular meetings and forums • experience in identifying evidence needs of a community, ideally with research experience • experience in prioritizing and communicating progress of addressing communities needs • experience in identifying and establishing collaboration opportunities among the community • degree in an environmentally focused field, advanced degree (masters, PhD or similar) related to the production and/or use of evidence would be an advantage • able to travel freely and frequently across Africa; travel to Europe required on an annual or semi-annual basis
