📋 Description

• Serve as the primary electrical discipline lead for large, complex projects. • Manage project budgets and schedules from an electrical design perspective. • Interface with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders. • Lead electrical system design programming and master planning. • Oversee quality assurance for design documents and calculations. • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers. • Support construction activities, including RFIs, submittal reviews, punch lists, and progress reporting. • Develop and deliver internal training presentations on electrical design and engineering best practices. • Collaborate with Project Managers on proposals, resource planning, and scheduling for electrical scope of work.

🎯 Requirements

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering. • Minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting. • Professional Engineering (PE) registration. • Advanced knowledge of GMP manufacturing environments. • Expertise in electrical system design, including lighting, power, and specialty systems. • Strong understanding of electrical codes and intermediate knowledge of building codes. • Experience leading field surveys and preparing detailed reports. • Proficiency in cross-discipline coordination and collaboration with construction partners, vendors, and manufacturers. • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and system issues effectively.
