📋 Description

• Design and build CGA's cloud products, backend, infrastructure, and frontend where needed • Own hard technical problems end to end, from framing through shipping, monitoring, and iteration • Test-drive development to maintain software quality • Contribute to architectural decisions and shape CGA's technical direction • Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders, provide estimates, communicate clearly, and deliver commitments • Follow and improve CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices • Monitor product health and respond to issues • Mentor colleagues, improve team quality, and model engineering standards

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong full-stack instincts with deep backend and infrastructure experience at a senior level • Fluency (or close to it) in HTML5/CSS, React, TypeScript, Node, Postgres, Docker, AWS, and Terraform • Track record of shipping software in a strong CI/CD environment • Clear, honest communication and a team-first instinct • Genuine interest in growing into technical leadership over time • Personal commitment to CGA's standards • Experience building education or other consumer-facing products with a global user base (highly regarded) • Experience mentoring or guiding more junior engineers (highly regarded) • Comfort running production systems across multiple regions and time zones (highly regarded)
