• Teach Biology classes and support students in the subject area • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with relevant IGCSE and A-Level specifications • Maintain high-quality course content, lesson plans and resources within the LMS • Support academic leadership with quality assurance, learning walks and standardization • Develop, mentor and onboard Biology teachers • Contribute to curriculum review, assessment planning and exam preparation • Support post-exam analysis, interventions and student progress monitoring • Champion digital pedagogy, AI-supported learning and best-practice sharing • Collaborate with colleagues across CGA’s international virtual campuses • Encourage student enrichment through Biology and science-related activities, competitions and clubs • Contribute positively to the wider academic and extracurricular life of CGA
• Qualified teacher with strong subject expertise in Biology • Experience teaching secondary-level Biology • Understanding of International GCSE (IGCSE) and A-Level programmes • Experience with Pearson Edexcel and/or Cambridge specifications is an advantage • Confident using digital learning platforms and delivering high-quality online teaching • Interest in innovative approaches to education, including effective use of AI to support student learning • Ability to support, mentor and develop other teachers • Organised and data-aware • Commitment to maintaining high academic standards • Excellent communication with students, parents and colleagues • Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider CGA community • Must be based in, or able to work effectively within, a New Zealand or Australia time zone
